Higher Education Graduate Assistantship Interview Days are hosted by the KU School of Education and the KU Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs for all admitted Master's level students seeking an internship for the Higher Education Administration Program (M.S.Ed.).

Assistantships:
Administrative Assistantships are available through a cooperative program with the Higher Education Program and other campus departmental offices. Admission to the academic program is required prior to the awarding of any related graduate assistantship placements - Additionally, full admission to the program requires being selected for an assistantship or full-time employment in a higher education position. The listing of available assistantships are published in February. The number of assistantships and type will vary from year to year. The application process includes: application, resume, and list of at least three references.
Students work between 20 - 30 hours a week in these positions and receive a stipend (note: housing positions also receive room and board.) In addition, students will receive in-state tuition when they hold an on-campus assistantship. These positions may be nine, ten, or twelve month appointments.
