The Higher Education Student Association would like to ask for your contribution toward the creation of an Endowed Scholarship in honor of Donvontae Walton.

 

A member of the class of 2014, Donvontae passed shortly after graduating and starting his full time career at Virginia Tech University. During his time at KU, Donvontae made an immense impact on the Higher Education Administration program community, and the KU campus. Those who worked with him loved his sense of humor, support, and encouragement. His laugh, smile, and dedication to education were contagious. Donvontae was an outstanding young professional with a passion for recruiting graduate students to KU and undergraduatestudents into the field of higher education. His students and colleagues alike will remember the dedication and enthusiasm that he always brought to his work.

 

To continue Donvontae’s legacy, the Higher Education Student Association is partnering with KU Endowment to create an endowed scholarship that will benefit incoming Higher EducationAdministration M.S.E. students at KU. Your contribution will help students who share in Donvontae’s passion, fund their continued education toward a career in student affairs, and help create a new generation of professionals to carry on Donvontae s legacy.
